Me

Let’s start at the beginning: My name is Scott Gustin. I’m the Senior Web Producer at MyFOX8.com, the website for the Fox affiliate in High Point, North Carolina. And I love Disney. There… I said it.

Luckily, I’m married to a fellow Disney geek that shares my love for Walt Disney World. This year, we will make our first trip to Disneyland during our California vacation in August. However, we will still find time for three visits to Walt Disney World between September and the end of the year. I have a self-diagnosed problem… so don’t waste your time.

I have always had an interest in Disney. As a kid, most of  my favorite movies were Disney movies. However, it wasn’t until high school until I found a real passion for Disney and especially Disney World. Without boring you with the details, after a visit to that happy place in 2000, I was hooked. Ever since, I have found myself constantly checking Disney websites  for the latest news from Disney World.

I spend most of my time online reading tech news, Disney World news and on Twitter (@scgustinwdw).

Hi Scott, my name is shelley and I just happen to stumble on to your site while looking at plancast. I like you have self diagnosed my condition and I am ok with it and if others dont understand they need to have their inner child checked.

My 1st visit to WDW was in 2005, my hubby & I taking our girls for the very 1st time and seeing their faces opened a place in my heart that got shut away long time ago and that is the child in me. I like you surfed the net for anything related to Disney that I could not concern myself with the seriousness of life, it was just the pull and magic of disney that keeps me hooked. Since then we have become DVC’s members, I go at least 3 times a yr and I just recently decided to become a travel agent.

Most of all I really love meeting others that share and understand what Walt Disney created and why he created it.

    Shelley
